Det XVI internasjonale symposiet om Oncology Pharmacy Practice (ISOPP 2017) holdes
26. - 29. april april i Budapest (Marriott Hotel i Budapest, Ungarn) Kort om symposiet og påmelding: The International Society of Oncology Pharmacy Practitioners (ISOPP) presents the XVI International Symposium on Oncology Pharmacy Practice (ISOPP 2017)<http://www.isopp.org/isopp-symposia/isopp-2017>, taking place from April 26 to 29, 2017 at the Budapest Marriott Hotel in Budapest, Hungary. Theme of the Symposium is Sharing the Journey. Regardless of where you live, a cancer diagnosis is a life changing event. It marks the start of a journey that involves challenging emotions, including fear, anger, frustration and despair. Patients need the support of family, friends, and health care professionals to navigate a complex maze of tests, lifestyle changes, medical appointments and treatment plans. We, as oncology pharmacy practitioners, are an important part of the patient support team. Whether we are involved with treatment planning, preparation, access, or education, our work can have a significant positive impact on the cancer patient experience. The 2017 ISOPP Symposium welcomes oncology pharmacy practitioners and related professionals from around the world to discover and enhance how we are Sharing the Journey with our patients and colleagues. The educational program<http://www.isopp.org/isopp-symposia/isopp-2017/program> will highlight cutting edge developments and showcase key patient and colleague perspectives. The Symposium is a unique opportunity for us to heighten our practice and continue to elevate our collaborative role within the cancer care team.
